Was Nerd Wars 2 Awesome?
Was Nerd Wars 2, Revenge of the Geeks, a good time? Uhhhh, yeah, duh. Look at these two wearing their fantastic and fabulous Latisys supplied nerd specs. There was a fantastic showing, just like the first one, and everyone gorged on hand crafted beverages and custom taco truck snacky smores. The trivia was intense and there were some occasional nerd hackles that got up but, decorum prevailed and all geeks were on their best behavior. At the beginning of the event MSN Communications received their long awaited trophy for being the reigning champs. Yogi Simms (pictured with Ray in Nerdy Specs) accepted as the team captain and coolest cat around.
This session was intense and the leader-board saw a lot of movement. When the dust settled, Team Latisys came in on top. Just behind them was Team Lewan which was comprised of current and alumni from Lewan. Congrats to both teams for such a dominant display of nerditude. We salute you! Thanks to all of you for participating and making this as awesome as the first. Well done you masters of all things irrelevant!
Keep your eyes peeled for the next one people. These are not to be missed if you have any social bones in your nerdy bodies.
