Netapp, No, EMC Purchases Data Domain!

Update – July 9th, 2009: Well, it looks like EMC won the bidding war! Data Domain has cancelled their agreement with Netapp and they have agreed to be purchased by EMC for $2.4B. Full story here:

It seems like a lot of companies are being purchased recently. Well, add Data Domain to that list, recently announced that they will be purchased by NetApp, for approximately $1.5B!
